What are comic pulls?
A pull list, also known as a comic subscription, is a comic reader/collector's way of telling their Friendly Local Comic Shop (that's us!) that they don't want to miss a single issue of their favorite series! You tell us which books you want us to pull for you, and every Wednesday we set aside the latest issues for you to make sure that you don't miss out. This is especially helpful for popular series that might sell out, and saves you some of the work of keeping track of which series come out when. We've got you covered!
How does it work?
New comic books release every week on Wednesday mornings. Most series release a new issue once a month, though some are more frequent, and others less.
After a week's new comics arrive at the store, but before they go on sale, we pull books from the stacks for our subscribers! Pull list books are set aside and put in bags with subscriber names on them, and the rest go onto the shelf for release day.
Subsribers are notified if new comics have been pulled for them on Wednesday morning, starting when we open. All that's left to do is visit Source, let a staff member know that you have pull list books on hold, and purchase them!
Pulled books are held for one week from their release date before returning to shelves. Can't make within the week? No problem! Contact us by phone, email, or at the store to let us know you still want your books but need a bit more time, and we'll be happy to accommodate.
While we always strive to get everyone the comics they're after, sometimes, a book is only available in limited quantities and we don't have enough copies pull it for everyone who wants one. When this happens, we pull comics on a first-come, first-served basis based on who made pull requests first.

Setting up a comic pull list, is easy and totally free!
There are a few different ways to start or change a pull list:
You can ask a Source staff member at the store to help you out, or you can contact us by phone or email to let us know which books you would like to have added or removed from your list.
You can also now change and add to your pull list yourself using League of Comic Geeks! Syncing your pull list with us enables you to browse new releases, add then to your pulls, select specific variant covers, subscribe to series, and more, directly from your computer or mobile device. Cut-off for ordering via League of Comic Geeks is midnight on the Saturday before release.
